a granny square for K

I went with blue & green because that's what I have the most of in my stash (and it's what I'm always drawn to).  I hope you like it, Kristin! what a fun block!

FYI: The blue is more aqua than this photo portrays.

If you live in or around Little Rock, Joann's is having a big liquidation sale before they move to their new location on McCain.  I'll try to leave some fabric for you, but I can't promise anything.

  1. That is beautiful. I am loving this pattern. Are there any rules about not repeating patterns during the year?! Heading to Joanns today- it's coupon commotion week- tons of coupons to redeem. Not as fun as a liquidation sale but better than a poke in the eye.

  2. Oh, heart be still! I'm really feeling the love! The colors and prints are just perfect, Em! So wishing I could head over to Joann's right now!! If you come across any of the new Denyse Schmidt, you know, the Aunt Edna stuff, would you pick some up for me and I'll send you a check? (and a treat for your troubles...:))

  6. What kinds of discounts are we talkin'? Worth if for me to drive all the way out from the H.S.? Great square, Emily!

Camie- There are no rules against repeating patterns!

  7. Becca - all the fabric is 33% off unless you buy the whole bolt... then it's 50% off. The back half of the store is already empty. There is quite a bit of Denyse Schmidt. Patterns are 25 cents (except Simplicity), but I didn't find ANY of the ones I wanted. The new store opens on 4/13 and the old one closes on 4/11.
