Quilting Read

I've been on a reading kick lately with anything having to do with the 1920-30's, the Depression, or the Dust Bowl. Not the lightest reading but so very interesting (considering where I live.)
The Persian Pickle Club, contained all of those subjects with an added bonus of quilting.
It is a lite read, but it is also so very enjoyable.
When reading it, I could not help but think about our little quilting bee.
If you do(or have) read it, share your thoughts with me.

Now, I am in search of my next good read.
Any suggestions?

  1. Jen,I read and thoroughly enjoyed that book several years ago. I loved the mystery twist to the quilting bee!

My current book craze has been all about gothic english fiction. Loved the forgotten garden and the distant hours. Next on my list is the house at tyneford.
