Two, possibly three quilters have already expressed an interest in a polaroid swap so let's go ahead and get started and see who else joins in. I found these examples here.
Here's a tutorial (unfortunately I saved the image but not the link to where it came from):
I've never organized anything like this before so if you have any suggestions, please share them! For starters maybe we should tell each other how many we are willing to make for each person in the swap. I'm not even sure how many to volunteer so I'll let someone else take the lead!
Participants:
camie
emily
liz
melissa?
cindy
becca
kristin
mardie
Thoughts:
2-3 per person?
if anyone is willing to trade more- great! just say so.
Timeline:
through December 2014
I want to!! Depending on how many people participate, I could do two or three blocks for each person. If there's more than four or five people, maybe less. They seem like a quick block. This sounds like fun, Camie !
ReplyDeletei second everything Becca says ^^^^, however, I'm in America until mid August. I won't be able to work on anything until I get home. What is your timeline?
ReplyDeletewe DO have sewing machines here in America, you know! :)
Deleteyes, but my stash is so far away!
Deletevery good point! nothing better than a German snapshot!!
DeleteNo timeline yet. I'm just trying to get a feel for what will work for everyone.
ReplyDeleteI'm in! Sounds like fun!
