For the month of April we'll be making a Twisted Nine Quilt.
There's nothing fancy to this one.
And it measures larger than 12 x 12 when finished so it goes against our 12Squared name.
Please don't disqualify me!
You should each receive your 9 squares in the mail with the same directions that are listed below.

Sew 3x3 squares together into any combination you desire.  Square up to 14”square.
Cut 9 patch block int half cutting both horizontal & vertical cuts.  Your 9 patch will now be 4 pieces
Turn each of these 4 pieces into any direction you desire.  Sew together.
Square up block to measure 13 1/2 inches.
Use embroidery thread (of any color) to embroider your name someplace on your square.

The end.
Clean and simple--
same as my goals in life.

Thanks girls!

  1. Cool square! I like how there is consistency in the prints while allowing some room for personalization.

to me, 12 squared means 12 months and 12 ladies. I think the size can be flexible. looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
