A little late, but finally done!

So sorry for the delay, but excuses aside, my machine of 15 years (we have a small relationship), has bit the dust...so - I am up for any suggestions...does anyone just love their machine - things they don't like about it? I think I know what I am going to get, but I am up for any ideas! Excited for April and a new machine! These blocks have reminded me how much I love to sew - just where is all the time that I need???

  5. Wow! I love the elephants... their trunks tangled. So cute!

I have a Brother Pacesetter ULT 2002D embroidery machine. Honestly, it is a lot of machine for the kind of sewing I do. I rarely use the embroidery features, but LOVE the way it sews.

It has has a big variety of programmed stitches, including quilting stitches. It came with lots of different presser feet (some I have no idea how to use). And, it does great buttonholes. I have never had a problem with it and would readily recommend it. However it is several years old and I'm not sure how it compares with Brother's newer models.

What kind are you thinking of getting?

  6. i have a really really really old Bernina, but it makes me recommend Bernina because it's at least 50 years old and running beautifully!

  9. Shari, These are wonderful squares. You have a great eye. I have a refurbished Bernina 1130. I love it. It is still running well. It does everything I need except effortless button holes.
