I have been collecting vintage sheets at thrift stores for a long time.
I want to make a quilt out of them. I can't decide between the moda bakeshop lawn chair design
or the oh, fransson! chopped vegetables design.
Please comment and tell me what you think!

oh my Oh fransson!! Love the stacked look!
ReplyDeletemy vote depends on how similar in color the sheets are. because i love the fransson look too, but i think it's fabulous because the fabrics are so similar with just slight differences. otherwise i think the lawn one would show them off better if they're fairly different colors & patterns. kwim?
ReplyDeleteI know my vote probably doesn't count, cause I'm not a 12 squared, but I like the lawn chair!
ReplyDeletei love the chopped vegetable, i feel like it showcases the fabric better. to me, it seems like the prints get lost in the lawn chair...but i like bold!
ReplyDeleteWhat are you using it for? I love both designs. I'm no help ;)
ReplyDeleteI really like the chopped vegetables.
ReplyDeleteAre your vintage sheets bold in color? I love the chopped vegetable pattern but I am not sure how it would work in pastel colors.
ReplyDeleteChopped Vegetable.
ReplyDeleteI second what the top Em said. But Both designs are Cute
ReplyDeleteI was just looking at some of our sew linky blogs, Diary of a Quilter's latest post has a very vintage sheet looking pattern. It might be an option.
ReplyDeleteI'm leaning towards the chopped vegetables (because it will look like a stack of folded sheets). My concern is that pairing it with bright white will make the sheets look dingy. hmmm. Maybe I should just do a bunch of squares like this:

the squares are beautiful too!
