Belated

I no longer have to hang my head in a quilter's shame.
I finally finished my square for Amy.
Sorry, Amy.
Don't worry Jennie, I started your square today.

A little late, but finally done!

So sorry for the delay, but excuses aside, my machine of 15 years (we have a small relationship), has bit the dust...so - I am up for any suggestions...does anyone just love their machine - things they don't like about it? I think I know what I am going to get, but I am up for any ideas! Excited for April and a new machine! These blocks have reminded me how much I love to sew - just where is all the time that I need???

Liz's March block

Here is my March block for Amy! It was a bit of work figuring out which fabrics went together but I'm happy with it!
Hope Amy is too!

Thank goodness

Thank goodness my March square went much more smoothly than my poor little elephant. Thanks, Amy.

Sew on top of the 2 blocks
Cut 1 block 6.5X3.5

Sew on the side.
Cut 2 strips 10.5X2.5
Sew on the top and bottom
Cut 2 strips 10X1.5 (doesn't have to be the same fabric)
Sew on the sides
Cut 2 strips 12X1.5 (doesn't have to be the same fabric)
Sew on the top and bottom.
You're done! I know I made this very simple, but those are the kind of instructions I usually need...simple.

The square will be 12X12
If you haven't already, you should be getting a scrap of the floral fabric. Put it in there anywhere, as much or little as you would like. Pull your other fabric colors from the floral.

I'm looking forward to having a quilt to lay over my (hopefully new) couch when we move.
THANKS GIRLS!!
